ABOUT US

Founded in 1997 by Christopher Hoffmann, we are a full service general contracting and construction management company with the knowledge and experience to complete small and large projects.  Our services include tenant finish, remodeling, rehabilitation, additions, as well as design work for new residential homes and commercial buildings.

Chris Hoffmann was born and raised in Saint Louis.  His family heritage is deeply rooted in the construction industry.  He has several uncles and brothers in the trades.  With a passion for all things construction oriented, Chris worked with his relatives on weekends and evenings as a youngster.  Chris attended Rosary High School where he took several classes in design and architecture.  He then went on to Southern Illinois University as Edwardsville where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering.  After working for seven years as estimator / project manager for a local construction company, Chris started the business known today as C.J. Hoffmann Contracting Inc.

C.J. Hoffmann Contracting Inc. is a relatively young company however that does not leave us lacking in the experience or drive to be the best contractor of our size in Saint Louis.  Since our incorporation in 1997, we have increased sales year after year.  This growth is a direct result of our attentiveness to our customers' needs and visions.  Many of our clients are repeat customers who have contracted our services on two or more projects.  Additionally, our client list includes many local businesses and families. 

We are continually working to improve our methods to increase efficiencies while maintaining a safety conscious work atmosphere.  This allows our clients to remain confident they are getting the highest quality, injury-free project for the money invested.  Our small staff and low office overhead allows us to be competitive on both hard bid and design build work.  C.J. Hoffmann Contracting staff will work in conjunction with the owner and architect to achieve a project that is cost effective. We are able to achieve this because members of our construction team offer suggestions on cost-cutting and time-saving techniques to the design team involved on the project.  Together we achieve our goals.
